The Turrell Center's Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is a group of parents who volunteer to help enrich our children's experience here at TCC&ELC. The purpose of the PAC is two-fold:
- 1) to offer input and provide feedback to the administration to help ensure the center is providing needed services,
- 2) to help coordinate fundraising activities which in turn pay for extra curricular activities for all of the children at TCC&ELC (i.e., magicians and Outragehisss Pets come in the winter months when the children can not go outside). The monies raised also help pay for class trips, and the annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. The PAC also helps coordinate the annual family picnic.
Please consider becoming a member of the PAC!
In addition, we need Class Parents. The class parent is a liaison between the PAC and your child's classroom teacher. The class parent attends PAC meetings and is willing to help the classroom teachers with special events such as the annual Halloween Parade.
